Permanent Jewelry
Zahav (זהב Gold in Hebrew)
What is it?
Like its name suggests, permanent jewelry is meant to never be taken off. In lieu of a clasp, the chain of your choice is welded together, giving you effortless and seamless jewelry all the time.
Does it hurt?
NO! the type of machine used, combined with the low wattage we're welding at, presents little-to-no risk for the client. You will be asked, however, to look away during the weld to protect your eyes.
What kind of jewelry can I get?
The most common pieces are bracelets, anklets, and necklaces, however at Zahav we don't limit ourselves or you. Whether you choose a basic or custom piece, you will leave with the jewelry you desire.
What sets Zahav apart from others who offer permanent jewelry?
I'm so glad you asked! Several things distinguish us in the industry...
First and foremost, only the highest quality products are offered. Most of the chain you'll find out there is either "filled", "rolled", or lower quality metals coated in enamel. Both "filled" and "rolled" are very loosely-regulated terms. These chains have an unknown metal inside, and an unregulated amount of the precious metal on the outside. All of the aforementioned chains are not built for longevity, and end up either breaking, or dyeing your skin colors. At Zahav, only 100% solid precious metals, or "vermeil" chain is used. Vermeil chain is 100% sterling silver on the inside, and a precious metal coating at least 2.5 microns thick and 10 karat or higher. The end result is a long-lasting, more stable weld and jewelry that is always as beautiful as the first day it was welded on.
Secondly, we guarantee all of our pieces! Though confident in the process, it's understandable that sometimes stuff just happens. If you decide you want your piece resized, relocated, or it breaks off, you're always welcomed back into the salon for a fix. When you invest in a piece, we invest in your happiness with said piece.
Lastly, we went above and beyond to make sure that the highest-quality products were being used, but also that there would be options for all price-points. Most places are wildly more expensive! We believe permanent jewelry should be accessible.
